Manifested Mercy is an Alton Illinois, Madison County based non for profit organization, with the sole intent of providing a future and hope for the silent community… We believe that each person deserves a second chance, deserves to be loved, and that they ARE SO much more than the choices they have made!

Jason and Tina Kelley: Founders, They have over 20 years of experience battling thier own addictive demons and family struggles.

Jason is a trained and experienced Impact of Crimes on Victims and SMARTRecovery facilitator.  He is a suicide survivor who has battled depression and anxiety issues, as well as his own addictive and criminal thinking issues.

Tina has battled relationship issues, depression and anxiety, and addictive habits.  She is a hope dealer who shares hospitality and encouragement through her life and message.

Their passion to help those in need comes from thier own personal choices and seeing what damages they did to those around them.

What we believe

image15

Manifested Mercy looks to serve three aspects of our community:

1.  Provide assistance to those in recovery from addictions, hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

2. Work with individuals and families of those dealing with incarceration.

3. Provide assistance to those who have been victimized.

Manifested Mercy believes that each and every person deserves to be treated with respect and love. Second chances are for all!

Manifested Mercy looks to serve the Alton Illinois, Madison County, Illinois State, and surrounding areas by providing services to those in need as listed above.

The attempts will be to work with local organizations, churches, and agencies, as well as local government authorities and law agents, to solve the addiction, overdose, and crime/recidivism rates that plague our community, through education, awareness, programming, and public assistance.

What we provide

image16

Manifested Mercy sees the importance of 6 areas, providing help for those dealing with addiction and incarceration. These areas, if worked on and kept to by our clients, gives a higher chance of not relapsing or recidivism. Those 6 areas are:

1. Safe housing – you just can’t send people back home to where they were using or committed their crimes… We intend to work with local landlords and complexes to have better opportunities to get out of the areas that may have helped foster the addicted and criminal ways of a person’s past.

2. Gainful Employment – Our intention is to work with local businesses to have places to send people to get interviews and on job paid training, as well as resume assistance, so that a person in recovery or removed from prison can feel good about themselves and help become a new productive member of society… This includes finding more ways to support “Ban the box".

3. Programming/Education – Provide and support local classes that help continue the changes needed to help a person recover and change their criminal thinking/stinking thinking ways.

 4. Reconnecting with community/family – provide and support reintegration with those who will be closest to the recovering addict and the released felon (including while still incarcerated).

 5. Faith base – We believe that an important part of recovery and removal from prison is the belief in a higher power and being around those of like-minded faith. We intend to connect our clients with a community as such.

6. Accountability – provide an extensive list of individuals whom will walk side by side with our clients through this process.
